POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for design and development of complex enterprise healthcare applications. Work closely with product management and application architects. Understand the impact of design decisions on the overall effort. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with Applications architects to define application design and development requirements. Design, Develop and Integrate modules to Oracle based Hospital Information System using SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, packages and triggers. Update application module design, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with established standards. Perform code reviews with analysts and Application architects and developers. Develop unit and system test plans. Integrate heterogeneous applications using XML and Web Services. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Minimum 2 years experience in: 1. N-tier Client/Server Technology 2. Developing and maintaining enterprise applications and interfaces using Oracle Forms and Reports Developer, Object Library, SQL and PL/SQL in Oracle 11g/10g/9i database application development. Below knowledge/experience are added advantages 1. Experience in Agile Software Development Processes and methodologies 2. Data Conversion and Migration Projects 3. Conceptual skills in DBA, Data Warehousing, and business Intelligence 4. Knowledge in Health Information Standards like; CDA, ICD, DICOM, ASTM, SNOMED, LOINC, etc... 5. Experience in building HL7 and RS-232 interfaces between different systems 6. Experience in Linux Operating System. ATTRIBUTES: Excellent Team Player, Responsible and Deadline Oriented. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields. Minimum 2 years’ working experience in Enterprise Application Development.
